Our Officiants
Daniel is passionate about giving back to his community, and that’s what ultimately led him to become a minister. Having thoroughly enjoyed giving speeches on public safety and adapting to disability, Daniel soon realized his skill in public speaking could also be put to use officiating ceremonies!
Originally from Delaware, Ohio, Daniel now identifies Minneapolis as home. In the summer he can be seen biking around the lakes or floating around in a canoe playing his ukulele. In the winter he snowboards and swims indoors. He travels throughout the year participating in skateboard events and amputee conferences. Daniel lives a very active lifestyle and believes exercise and adventure are important to our development in every stage of life.
He has a Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Hocking College where he chose an independent study program which allowed him to learn about what interests him most, people. Daniel is fascinated by diversity and the tenacity of the human spirit. He has taken a personal interest in reading about world religions and studying philosophy.
Although his personal journey has not yet resulted in marriage, Daniel believes marriage is a deep spiritual connection and cause for great joy and he also firmly believes that one should have a well-developed sense of self before making a lifelong commitment to another. He looks forward, with great excitement, to the opportunity to participate in one of the most important and exciting days of your life!
