**Rev. Marggi is based in Northfield so her mileage is calculated from that area. Travel fee to Minneapolis/St. Paul (for Rev. Marggi only) would be $35 per trip.

Marggi has an amazing amount of enthusiasm and zest for living. She approaches each day as an opportunity to offer joy, fun, and warmth to whoever meets her on her journey that day. She has a doctorate in theology and has been an ordained pastor for over twenty-five years, currently serving the call as full-time pastor of an ELCA Lutheran Church. Officiating weddings has become her favorite and the most delightful aspect of her ministry.

Her passion is to celebrate the love and devotion of marriage and whether the ceremony has religious aspects or not is completely up to the couple’s personal preference and beliefs. She feels blessed to have met couples of all walks of life and each couple has enriched her own life, leaving her incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have served them!  Her singular goal and greatest hope is to bring her passion for life and love to each marriage she officiates.

Marggi loves international travel and leads travel groups around the world and she also leads a service trip to Guatemala every spring. She loves the woods and gets out every day to run or walk with her two dogs (she and her husband have five dogs!) Their two adult children live in New Zealand and Guatemala and of course she travels to visit them as often as she can.

She enjoys creating beautiful spaces, preaching and public speaking, entertaining little ones with her puppets, and spending time with people -whoever that might be. She believes that life is too short not to love and be loved and officiating at weddings allows her the greatest opportunity to share that passion!
